A story about what truth can do.

social launch campaign • copywriting • tech • advocacy

There are more than 700 Confederate Monuments that still stand in the US. Many of these went up decades after the war, their purpose more intimidation than commemoration.

In partnership with the NAACP, we launched Invisible Hate, a powerful tool that locates each statue, gives the real story behind it, then directs you to resources to call for its removal.

Invisible Hate

To demonstrate how hate had been hiding in plain sight, we launched an Instagram with a seemingly blank grid of posts.

When you click on each, a piece of the truth is revealed. Click below to see a few in action.

Launching the tool.

Making it stick.

We partnered with Giphy to create a bank of stickers that could be used on Instagram & in text messaging, as well as stickers you could add directly to your discoveries in the web app.
