Emma Murf is poet and writer living in Madrid. She is also the co-founder of PEZESTRIANS, a poetry workshop and open mic. Her work is published or forthcoming in The Shore, The Madrid Review, Points in Case, Same Faces Collective, Slackjaw, Liminal Press, The Belladonna and others, and was shortlisted for The Letter Review Prize for Poetry and Billy Collins’ Fish Poetry Prize. Her poetry often explores what families pass down. But her first poem, at eight years old, explored listing her brother on eBay.
